Theresa “Tessie” Alberta Patrick of Irving, Texas October 15, 1922 – May 28, 2019 Theresa Alberta “Tessie” Patrick, 96, a resident of Irving since 1949, died Tuesday at a Bedford care center. Born October 15, 1922 in Dallas, she was the daughter of the late Albert Keene Galloway and Mary Leda Perry Galloway. She served in the United States Navy as a WAVE during World War II.

She met and married her husband George J. Patrick while stationed at Pennsacola, Florida July 22, 1944. She was a homemaker and was a long-time member of St. Luke’s Catholic Church in Irving. She was preceded in death by her parents, five siblings, Mary Ross, Kate Hall, Julia Welch, Albert Galloway, and John Galloway; her husband George J. Patrick in 1997, daughter, Christine Patrick 1982, son, Gerald J. Patrick 2006, and daughter Cathy Patrick 2009.

Survivors include a daughter Jody Patrick of Irving; five sons, Mickey Patrick and wife Sherri of Bedford, Dan Patrick and wife Kristine of Austin, Dave Patrick and wife Terry of Irving, George Patrick and wife Carol of Grapevine, and Mark Patrick and wife Theresa of DeSoto; a daughter-in-law, Mary Patrick of Austin; a sister-in-law, Jean Galloway of Lewisville, Texas; fourteen grandchildren, Bryan Patrick of Austin, Kelli Cuccia and husband Sam of McKinney, Casey Patrick of Euless, Justin Patrick and wife Tiffany of Mobile, Alabama, Jarod Patrick and wife Paige, Teresa Russell and husband Greg, and Stephanie Patrick all of Austin, Carrie Patrick-Smith and husband Shane Smith of Grand Prairie, Amy Patrick of Irving, Sean Patrick, Sarah Patrick, and Christopher Joseph “C.J.” Patrick, all of Grapevine, Dylan Patrick of Arlington, and Abbey Patrick of DeSoto; six great grandchildren, Tara Cuccia, Elane Patrick, William Patrick, Sophia Patrick, Gavin Patrick, and Patrick Smith. The family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Monday, June 3, 2019 at Donnelly’s Colonial Funeral Home, 606 W. Airport Freeway in Irving. A Celebration of Tessie’s Life will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at Donnelly’s Colonial Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial will follow at Calvary Hill Cemetery, 3235 Lombardy Lane, Dallas, TX 75220. Memorials may be made to Accord Hospice or Vitas Hospice.
