Therese’s Obituary Therese Christena “Emmy Rose” Reed-Cox, 63, of Cedar Rapids, passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2019 at Mercy Medical Center ICU, following a short illness. Therese was born on April 12, 1955, daughter of Barbara Jost. She had a passion for Christ and her heart belonged to Jesus.

Therese adored the Pacific Ocean, pink tulips and roses, and had an undeniable love for music that she shared with everyone she loved. She enjoyed cooking shows, sharing recipes and writing in her journals. Therese sold Home Interiors during her younger years and followed her calling to nurture children while working at Teddy Bear Childcare for 8 years.

Therese was preceded in death by her grandparents, Tony and Christena Ipsan; and her beloved first born son, Joshua Jost. She left behind her husband, Michael Cox of 33 years; her children, Gabriel (Amanda) Reed, Rachel (Ron) Munson, Jacob (Kaylie) Reed and Kaleb Cox; her ten grandchildren, Christopher, Sky, Sierra, Elijah, Tristan, Mikenzi, Lily, Kali and Lucas; two great grandchildren, Corbyn and Kingston; her mother, Barbara Jost; her sister, Becky Klien; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Therese will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
