He and his family later moved to Michigan where he worked on his Masters at U of M while he and Darlene worked together operating pre-schools in the Plymouth, Westland & Farmington Areas.
Tom’s love for business found him owning several businesses in addition to the pre-schools, an ice cream shop in Suttons Bay and donut shops in Minnesota, as well as being involved in many real estate ventures. He was very active in Rotary Club in Plymouth and Suttons Bay. Although his love for business was great, his first love was the Lord Jesus Christ followed by his family, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter and life.
Memories of raising and breeding horses, boating the Great Lakes and Canada, as well as basketball at Glen Arbor Town Hall will always be in the hearts he touched with his life. Prayer times and times around the campfire will be missed by all. Tom’s compassionate care at the Medilodge in Suttons Bay was beyond a blessing.
He loved the staff and friendships that he made during his stay there. He was treated with so much love and respect. For this we are forever grateful.
Tom is home…. . finally home with his Lord & Savior!
A dinner for immediate family celebrating Tom’s life will be scheduled at a later date per his request.
