Thomas “David” Benson, Jr. died on September 1st, 2018 in Middle River, MD while on vacation with his wife and friends. He was born in Welch, WV on September 3rd, 1950. He was a retired Cincinnati Firefighter and a resident of Fort Myers Beach, Fl.

He served for four years in the United States Navy during the Vietnam war era. He was survived by his wife Tracey (Hummel) Benson; two daughters, Melissa and Aimee; five grandchildren; brother, Terry Benson; and sister in law, Sandy Benson. He also leaves many friends from his long time residence in Cincinnati and the Indian Creek Community in Fort Myers Beach.

The family requests that memorials be made to the Wounded Warriors Project, American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association. There are no plans for a service at this time.
