Obituary for Thomas G. Liddy Hampton – Thomas G. Liddy, 74, of Hampton, passed peacefully to his eternal reward on Monday, April 9, 2018 at Exeter Hospital. He was born in Morristown, NJ on December 12, 1943 a son of the late Lawrence Liddy and Ruth (Thompson) Skonberg. Raised in Basking Ridge, NJ he graduated from Morris Catholic High School with the Class of 1962.

He went on to receive his master’s degree from the University of New Hampshire. He taught Industrial Arts in the Seabrook and Hampton school districts for over 30 years, retiring in 2005. Thomas was a member of the Civic Strings, the Coast Guard Auxiliary and volunteer for the RCS soup kitchen in New Bern, NC, in addition to volunteering for St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry in Hampton.

Family was most important to Thomas and his greatest joy was spending time with them. He had a terrific sense of humor and enjoyed playing practical jokes as well as woodworking, fishing, playing the violin and growing roses. Family members include his true love and wife of 49 years Patricia (Groszek) Liddy; his loving son, Matthew Liddy; sisters, Anita Murphy and her husband Rich and Peggy Codey and her husband Raymond; brother, Patrick Liddy and nieces and nephews, Michael, Courtney, Rick, Brendan, Meghan and Erin.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 PM on Thursday, April 12, 2018 in the Remick & Gendron Funeral Home – Crematory, 811 Lafayette Rd. , Hampton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am on Friday, April 13, 2018 in St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church, 1 Lowell Street, Seabrook, NH 03874.
