Obituary for William C. Welch Seabrook – William C. Welch, 79, of Seabrook, passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by family, on Friday, May 11, 2018. Bill was born on November 23, 1938 in Salisbury, MA, a son of the late Eugene E. and Rosalie (Eaton) Welch. He was raised in Salisbury and lived there until he met and married the love of his life, Sandra (Sanborn) Welch, and they relocated to Seabrook to raise their family.

Bill had worked briefly for the Town of Hampton before hiring on with the former K J Quinn and Morton International, where he worked until retiring in the early 1990s when the plant closed. Not one to sit idle, Bill kept working as self-employed carpenter, building many homes, including his own, throughout the area. Bill was a simple, hard-working man and a great provider for the family he loved so much.

He enjoyed woodworking and tinkering in his garage but being with his grandchildren made him the happiest. He leaves Sandy, his wife of over 60 years, his sons, William Welch and his wife Kimberly, David Welch and Kenny Welch, all of Seabrook as well as his 10 beloved grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Eugene E. Welch, Jr. and his wife Peggy, also of Seabrook and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents, Bill was predeceased by his brother Robert Welch and his sisters, Florence Welch, Jeannette Sturgis, Helen Moore and Alice Marston. Visiting hours will be from 5 to 7 PM on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 in the Remick & Gendron Funeral Home – Crematory, 811 Lafayette Rd. , Hampton.

Family and friends are respectfully invited. Burial will be private in the Hillside Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Rockingham Visiting Nurse Association & Hospice, 137 Epping Rd.
