Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 4, 2019 at 10:00AM at Childress Church of Christ with Mr.Trey Morgan and Ronnie Shoffner officiating. Burial will be held at the Childress Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 3, 2019 from 5:00PM -6:30PM at Johnson Funeral Home. Thomas Garcia Jr. was born on July 8, 1949 in Marlette, Michigan to Tomas and Maria Garcia Sr. Thomas served in the United States Marine Corps and was awarded 2 Purple Hearts and Navy Cross Metal. Thomas worked for BNSF railroad constructing bridges.
