Thomas J. Weldon, 84 of Middletown, NJ passed away peacefully with his family by his side at home. Thomas was born in Jersey City to the late Thomas and Marie Weldon. He spent most of his life in Cliffwood, NJ.

He was a Superintendent Chemical Engineer for American Cyanamid in Linden for many years. Thomas served our country proudly in the US Army during the Korean War. He was a life member of the Cliffwood Volunteer Fire Department, Life Member of the Cliffwood First Aid and a member of the Cliffwood VFW.

He was very involved in the Cliffwood community his entire life. Thomas was predeceased by his parents, his brother Jack and his first wife Ethel Weldon. He is survived by his loving wife Carolyn, cherished children Thomas and his wife Donna Weldon, Timothy and his wife Sandy Weldon, Regina and her husband Jerry Allocco, Gary Walunas and David and his wife Liz Walunas.

Also surviving are his loving grandchildren Timothy, Taylor, James, Lauren, Alexander, Grace and Andrew. Visitation will be Sunday from 3-7pm at the Day Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Monday 10:30am at the funeral home by the Cliffwood Fire Department Chaplain.

Interment will be at St. Joseph’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in the memory of Thomas to the Cliffwood Volunteer Fire Department.
