THOMAS JACKSON ADAMS, age 83 of Clanton, passed away on September 20, 2018 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster, AL. He was born in Chilton County on November 27, 1934; the son of the late Grady Adams and the late Lorene Cleckley Johnson. He was a former laborer in the logging industry.

He is survived by: Daughter, Connie Polk of Clanton; Son, Tommie Adams of Clanton; 6 Grandchildren; 4 Great Grandchildren; Sister, Jeanette Ratliff of Clanton; Brother, Ivie Lee Johnson of Leeds; and Brother, Billy Johnson of Clanton. He is preceded in death by his Daughter, Shirley Adams. Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 24, 2018 at 2:00pm from Providence Baptist Church No.

2 with Rev. Glenn Bonds officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.

Burial will follow in the Providence Baptist No. 2 Cemetery in Clanton, Alabama. Final care and arrangements entrusted to the Ellison Memorial Funeral Home of Clanton, AL.
