Thomas Joseph Carello, 60, of Glenhill Drive Cranston passed away peacefully Sunday May 13, 2018 at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center in Providence. He was the son of the late Francis N. and Cecile M. (Mattson) Carello. Mr. Carello had Cerebral Palsy, and with the help of his amazing family, doctors and Meeting Street School he received his GED and attended New England Technical School for Business.

Thomas was the Poster Boy for Easter Seals in 1963. He is survived by two loving and dedicated sisters Rose Marie Champagne of Franklin, MA and Bernadette Rebola of Pawtucket; and nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Francis N, Carello, Jr. and Robin M. Carello.

A Celebration Of Life Service will be celebrated Saturday May 19, 2018 at 12 noon in the JONES-WALTON-SHERIDAN Funeral Home. Calling Hours from 11AM – 12 PM, prior to the service. Burial will be in Pawtuxet Memorial Park in Warwick, RI.

In lieu of flowers donation may be made in his memory to West Bay Residential, 199 Glenhill Drive Cranston, RI 02920 or Easter Seals of RI, 213 Robinson Street, Wakefield, RI 02879.
