Portsmouth – Thomas L. Harmon, 72, of Basin Street, died Tuesday, April 10, 2018, at Grandview Center, Cumberland. He was the beloved husband of the late Linda (McDonald) Harmon. Born in Millinocket, Maine, a son of the late Kenneth and Muriel (Nason) Harmon, he had lived in Portsmouth for over forty years.

Mr. Harmon worked in the Accounting Department at the Naval Underwater Systems Center in Newport, retiring ten years ago. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving during the Vietnam War, and was an avid golfer and member of Montaup Country Club, Portsmouth. He is survived by one son, Christopher C. Harmon of Lincoln; one sister; Nancy Rogerson of Millinocket, Maine; one brother, John Harmon of Millinocket, Maine; and two grandchildren, Danielle Harmon and Matthew Harmon.

His funeral and burial in St. Columba’s Cemetery, Middletown, will be private, at the convenience of the family. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory to the American Cancer Society, 931 Jefferson Boulevard, Suite 3004, Warwick, R.I. 02886 would be appreciated.
