Thomas O. Postlethwait, 75, of Washington, passed away Wednesday February 6, 2019 in Monroe, MI. He was born December 31, 1943 in Washington the son of Ord and Nellie Crowe Postlethwait. He was a graduate of McGuffey High School.

Mr. Postlethwait served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed hunting and shooting firearms. He was a self employed plumber.

He was the father of Carolyn Sue (Kevin) Ward of Newport, MI and brother to Pam Postlethwait and Cindy Postlethwait. Surviving are three grandchildren; Jacob Ward, Dustin Scheppe and Brennan Ward. He was preceded in death by a sister Joyce Postlethwait.

Family and Friends will be received from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon on Wednesday February 13, 2019 in Dale D. DeAngelo funeral Home at 1290 Jefferson Ave. in Washington, PA 15301. Funeral services will follow the visitation at noon on Wednesday with Pastor Steve Parkhill officiating.

Interment will follow in the Washington cemetery with military honors to be accorded by the United States Army.
