Obituary of Thomas Przepiora Thomas “Tom” Przepiora, 62, of Mayville, NY 14757, passed away Thursday, September. 20, 2018 at Home. He was born in Jamestown on December 28, 1955, a son of Betty Loomis Przepiora of Celeron and the late Walter J. Przepiora, Jr

He was a 1973 graduate of Southwestern Central School. In 1977 Tom was blessed to marry his wife of 41 years, Debra Hanson Przepiora of Mayville, Tom is now at peace raising Cain with his father Walter and Tom’s loved brothers: Walter J. “Joe” III, Charlie, Stephen “Steve” Przepiora, and infant Peter James Przepiora, along with his grandson Evan Przepiora. As a boy Tom grew up in the Catholic Church committing time to being an alter and choir boy.

Tom enjoyed following his brother, Steve who played the guitar in the bands Logan’s Creek and Cruel Shoes. During his younger years, Tom and his brother Charlie loved setting off fireworks around the United States. Later in life he harmonized with the Jamestown Harmony Express Barber Shop quartet of Jamestown, NY.

Tom and his wife, Debbie along with family and friends enjoyed creating floats and entering them in the Mayville Fourth of July parade, for more than twenty years. Tom was a previous resident of Ashtabula, OH where he worked for Buckeye Masonry, Great Lakes Construction company, and Donley’s Construction where he proudly advanced to become a Superintendent. Tom was proud of the many prominent jobs he worked on in Cleveland, OH.

As he could not settle into retirement on Chautauqua Lake he started a small company with family and friends, Three Guys Construction. Tom was a master craftsman of many different trades and could build anything that he desired. His dearest hobbies include camping, spending time boating on Chautauqua Lake, riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle and collecting Gravely tractors so he could manicure his lawn and gardens.

He also loved to volunteer his time each winter to Mayville, New York by constructing the ice castle at the winter festival, and founded The Hospice Tracker Run. Tom had a brilliant mind, big heart, and a mischievous sense of humor. He was great at being able to lead friends and family with laughs through hard times.

No matter what was going on he lived his life by putting his love for his family first. Tom’s presence was a joy and is truly going to be missed. Tom is survived by: His loyal wife Debra Przepiora of Mayville.

Son Greggory Przepiora, his wife Nikki and their children Owen, Avery, and Emmett of Chardon, OH. Son Matthew Przepiora, his wife Gabrielle and their children Olivia and Oakley of Solon, OH. Mother Betty Przepiora of Celeron, NY.

Brother John (Cindy) Przepiora of Atlantic, PA and Sister Tina (Barry) Eggleston of Clymer, NY, along with many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Memorial Service will be held at 1 Lakeview Ave. Mayville, New York 14757 on September 29th, 2018 at 3 o’clock in the afternoon.

Light lunch will be provided by Church on the Rock. Arrangements will be made if weather is not permitting. Memorials may be made to Chautauqua Hospice & Palliative Care, 20 W. Fairmount Ave.
