Obituary of Jacqueline Vincent Jacqueline A. Vincent: RNC, MS Jacqueline A. Vincent, 66, of Jamestown passed away Wednesday September 5, 2018 at UPMC Chautauqua WCA Hospital. She was born in Jamestown on April 14, 1952 where she remained a lifelong resident. Jackie graduated from Jamestown High School in 1970 and went on to complete an AAS degree from Jamestown Community College.

She subsequently became licensed as a registered nurse in 1974, after which she was employed by WCA Hospital as a staff nurse in labor and delivery, later being promoted to head nurse in maternity. Jackie progressed further in her career by earning Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in nursing from the State University of New York at Buffalo. She was licensed by the State of New York, certified by NAACOG and earned national certification as a women’s health Nurse Practitioner.

Jackie was also honored with the Distinguished Alumni Award from Jamestown Community College for her personal and professional achievements as well as distinguished service to our community. During Jackie’s career she gained valuable insight and skills while working in private practice with Drs. Messinger, Kim and Sutaria.

In 1993, preceding her retirement, Jackie opened her own office in Jamestown where she specialized as Nurse Practitioner providing obstetric and gynecologic services in collaboration with Drs. Daniels and Andrews. Jackie loved her profession and gained a reputation in the community for her competence, attentiveness and infinite devotion to her patients.

Jackie was the daughter of the late Donald Nohlquist and Joyce Nohlquist Sanders. She is survived by her brother James Nohlquist of Rochester, NY; two sisters Joanne (Bill) Zahn of Truckee, CA; Jan (Darryl) Streed of Ashville, NY and son Matthew. To remember Jackie, a gathering for family and friends will be held at the Lakewood American Legion Post 1286 on Friday September 14th at 2:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of choice.
