Obituary for Grant E. Winchester Grant E. Winchester, 89, of Harold Avenue, Bemus Point, NY, passed away on Sunday, October 28, 2018 at Heritage Park Rehab and Skilled Nursing, Jamestown, NY. He was born on September 24, 1929 in Jamestown, NY, the son of the late Glenn and Lillian Winchester. Grant graduated from Bemus Point High School.

Following high school he served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. He was a sheet metal worker for Sprinchorn, Jamestown, NY for many years. He is survived by his wife, Marian Swanson Winchester; three sons: Timothy Winchester, Jim (Jan) Winchester and Bob (Becky) Winchester all of Bemus Point, NY; six grandchildren: Lisa (Matt) Frantz, Jeremy Winchester, Shannon Winchester, Adam (Annie) Winchester, Jason (Kristy) Winchester and Jon (Chelsea) Winchester; six great grandchildren: Parker, Svea, Andrew, Luke, Mason and Declan; one sister: Joanne Moyle of Denton, TX.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son: Jeff Winchester and a sister: Marilyn Elliot. There will be no services held at this time. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Powers, Present & Sixbey Funeral Home, Inc., 316 East Fifth Street, Jamestown, NY.
