Obituary of Jody Crissman Jody L. Crissman I Jody L. Crissman I, 53 of Jamestown, N.Y., passed away Sunday, Oct. 14, 2018, in his home. He was born on Dec.

29, 1964, in Jamestown, N.Y., the son of the late James Crissman and Janet Griffin. In earlier years, Jody was employedby Spony’s Auto. He was an avid Buffalo Bills and NASCAR fan.

Jody was an active member of the 511 Club and was proud of being over 20 months sober. Jody always had encouraging words to others working on their sobriety, and was always happy to help in any way that he could. Jody was a loving father and grandfather.

He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He was especially excited about the birth of his grandson, Remington Smith, the baby brother of Trenton and Paislee Smith, on Oct. 9, 2018.

Surviving are his children: Jody L. Crissman II, Kelly (Justin Smith) Crissman, Michelle Duckett, Chris Duckett, April Crissman and Christine Johnson; as well as several grandchildren. Also surviving are his brothers: Jim Crissman, Scott (Jennifer) Joslyn and Skip Joslyn; a sister, Roberta Allison; and his stepmother, Cindy Glotz Joslyn. He was proceded in death by his parents; and his stepfather, Donald âSkipã Joslyn.

A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, Oct. 25, at 6 p.m., at the Tree of Life Parish-Immanuel Luthern Church. The Rev.

Tara Lamont Eastman will officiate. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial be made to Alcoholics Anonymous, 511 Club, 511 E. Second St., Jamestown NY.
