Tim E. Sauer, 59, of town of Kewaskum, passed on Saturday, June 9, 2018, at his home. Tim was born on October 22, 1958, the son of the late Glen and Nancy (nee Griepentrog) Sauer. On August 26, 1978, he was united in marriage to Sheila Carberry at St. James Catholic Church in Menomonee Falls.

Tim was a hunter, fisherman, outdoorsman, woodworker, and ATV enthusiast, these among many interests. He approached each of these hobbies with equal enthusiasm and willingness to learn. A tireless worker both professionally and in his personal life; Tim did not miss a day of work as a boiler service technician due to illness in over 31 years before needing to undergo treatment for lymphoma in 2012, which he eventually beat.

Personally, Tim, along with his wife Sheila, transformed their “Diamond in the Rough” home and property into truly a “Diamond,” that shone and was enjoyed by countless friends and family for many years. Tim was blessed with four grandchildren to whom he was eager to pass on his knowledge of the outdoors and woodworking. Tim was never one to mince words, which was a quality that endeared him to the family and friends who all loved him so much.

He will also be remembered as a warm and loyal husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He will be very sorely missed by all whose lives he touched. Those Tim leaves behind to cherish his memory include his wife, Sheila; two children, Adam (Lyda) Sauer and Kayla (Scott) Dauphinais; four grandchildren, Brynn, Abram, Quentin, and William; two brothers, Jed (Laura) Sauer and Tod (Barbara) Sauer; sisters and brothers in law, Barbara (Jack) Hubatch, Deborah (Gregg) Randall, Timothy (Sandy) Carberry, Cynthia (Greg) Robb, Judith (Jeffrey) Tetzlaff, Donna (Chuck) Goetsch, James (Renee) Carberry, Joel (Kristine) Carberry; numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, Tim was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Lucillia; his grandparents, Frank and Phyllis Griepentrog, and his grandmother, Cora Sauer. Funeral services for Tim will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 14, 2018, at the Myrhum Patten Miller and Kietzer Funeral Home, 215 Forest Avenue, in Kewaskum with Deacon Mike Koebel officiating. Tim’s family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. The Myrhum Patten Miller and Kietzer Funeral Homes have been entrusted with Tim’s arrangements. Additional information and guest book may be found at www.
