Timberley Valentine, 58, affectionately known as “Boss” died peacefully and surrounded by family on October 14, 2018 after a courageous battle with cancer. Timberley was born on November 22, 1959 in Chapel Hill, NC to Eileen Bone Valentine and James Francis Valentine. She graduated from Hardbarger Business College with a degree in Library Science.

She loved her cats, her church, genealogy, and was a voracious reader. She is survived by her stepmother, Kay Valentine; brothers: Jay Valentine (Karen), Craig Valentine, Thad Valentine (Melinda) and sister, Meredith Valentine (Phil); nieces Courtney Valentine and Katie Valentine; nephews: Tad Valentine and Sam Mitchell and many much-loved cousins. A gathering of remembrance open to all family and friends will be held this Saturday from 12-3 pm at the home of Meredith Valentine and Phil Mitchell at 210 Lyons Creek Rd, Macon, NC 27551.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the SPCA of Wake County, 200 Petfinder Lane, Raleigh, NC 27603.
