Frederick Wayne Treasure, 75, passed away Sunday, November 25, 2018. He was born July 9, 1943 in Tacoma, Washington to the late Thomas Wayne Treasure and Betty Mae Simpson. Fred honorably served his country in the US Army.

He retired as a Physicist working with Dell, IBM, owning Quick Silver Computer Engineers. A life celebration will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 pm, Thursday, November 29, 2018 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service & Crematory, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale, NC 27545. An inurnment service at Fort Bayard National Cemetery, 200 Camino De Paz, Fort Bayard, New Mexico 88036 will be held at a later date with Military Honors.

Surviving: wife, Barbara Hobbs Treasure; sons: Emrys Treasure (Emily) of Atlanta, GA, Trevor Treasure (Jessi) of Kingsport, TN; grandchildren: Madoc, Carys and Ellis Treasure; sister, Tommie Lou T. Teel (Charlie) of Huachuca City, AZ. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Transitions LifeCare, 200 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, NC 27607.
