Nancy Bunn Scott, 65, passed away Wednesday, November 7, 2018 surrounded by her family. Nancy was born December 5, 1952 in Wake County to the late Frank Russell Bunn and Luella Terry Bunn. She graduated from Vaden Whitley High School in 1970.

She worked at Square D for a number of years until her health began to decline. Nancy was a member of Clyde’s Chapel Baptist Church. She was devoted to her family and friends and will be dearly missed.

Funeral service 2:00 pm, Monday, November 12, 2018 at Clyde’s Chapel Baptist Church, 16557 Buffalo Road, Wendell, NC 27591. Burial will follow at The Bunn Family Cemetery, Horton Road, Knightdale, NC 27545. The family will receive relatives and friends from 5:00 to 8:00 pm Sunday, November 11, 2018 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service & Crematory, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale and other times at the home of her daughter.

Surviving: Life partner of 30 years, Durwood Kay Medlin; daughter, Tara Scott Johnson (Danny) of Zebulon; sons: Roger Lee Scott, Jr. of Wendell and Kenneth Shawn Scott (Cherish) of Clayton; grandchildren: Cole, Kyle, Braydon, and Cameron Scott, Lily and Greyson Johnson; sister, Ann B. Carroll (Stan) of Knightdale; brother, Donald Bunn (Betty) of Knightdale; a host of special nieces, nephews and close friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters: Lillian B. Earp, Lottie Ruth B. Nolan, and Brenda Rochelle B. Davis; and her brothers: Eddie Bunn and William Bunn.
