Billy Zester Horton, 76, passed away Sunday, December 16, 2018. He was born September 9, 1942 in Wake County to the late Henry Horton and Veva Tant. Funeral service 2:00 pm, Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at Heritage Baptist Church, 615 Mack-Todd Rd, Zebulon, 27597.

Burial will follow at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens. The family will receive relatives and friends Tuesday, December 18, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service & Crematory, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale, 27545 and other times at the home. Surviving: sons: Billy Wayne Horton (Pamela), Shannon Horton (Fallon) all of Middle ; grandchildren: Stacey Horton, Stephen Horton, Katie Horton, Jonathan Horton, Billy Horton, Jr., Jonah Horton, Taylor Creech, Mikayla Edwards, Cadyson Horton, Levi Horton, Hunter Horton, Addalyn Horton; 7 great-grandchildren; sister, Thelma Worley (Earl) of Micro.

In addition to his parents, Billy was preceded in death by siblings: Christine Horton, Loveine H. Driver, Margaret H. Pace, Pauline H. Tant, Bobby Joe Horton, Marshall Lee Horton.
