Robert Dean Turnage, Sr., 54, passed away Monday, January 21, 2019. He was born December 28, 1964 in Wake County to the late Willie Turnage and Elizabeth Vause Turnage. Robert was a self employed carpenter.

Memorial service 4:00 pm, Saturday, January 26, 2019 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service Chapel, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale, 27545. The family will receive relatives and friends immediately following the service at the funeral home. Surviving: wife, Deborah Jones Turnage; son, Dean Turnage (Ashar) of Bunn; brother, Willy Turnage of Rolesville; sisters: Emma Ray (Robin) of Louisburg, Diana Branna (Fred) of Castle Hayne, Barbara Vazquez of AZ.

In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by brothers: Donald and Billy Turnage. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to New Hope Worship Center, 7428 Pearces Road, Louisburg, NC 27549.
