Laura Kathleen Reynolds, of Knightdale, NC, died peacefully on January 8, 2019. Laura was born in Norfolk, VA on May 18, 1953 to Laura Jane & George “Skip” Reynolds, both of whom predeceased her. She is survived by her siblings: Sandra (Margie) of Sunset Beach, NC, Ranny (Ulli) of Palmyra, VA, Michael (Roni) of Bemidji, MN; and her extended devoted family.

She leaves behind many loyal friends in the Raleigh and surrounding area; her beloved suitemates from Suite 4 at Campbell University; her faithful friends, Teresa and Susan, and her beloved cat, Iris. Laura’s career in law enforcement started at NC State University and ended at UNC Rex Hospital, which was her second family. Laura was a Champion Surfer when she was in high school in Hawaii, loved to ride horses and enjoyed her computer games!

Laura was a wonderful sister and friend who shall be missed by all. A celebration of Laura’s life will be held at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service & Crematory, 944 Old Knight Road Knightdale at 11 am on Saturday, January 12, 2019. Laura’s ashes will be spread at a later time at her favorite beach, Sunset Beach, NC.

In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations be made in her name to the SPCA of Wake County, 200 Petfinder Lane, Raleigh, NC 27603. Condolences to the family may be sent to poolefuneral.com under Obituaries.
