Wylma Mae Mitchell Earnhardt, 78, passed away Thursday, February 14, 2019. She was born November 26, 1940 in Wake County to the late Calvin Mitchell and Velma Lee Ray. Wylma was a self-employed hairstylist for many years.

Wylma is survived by daughter, Teresa Forbes and husband, James of Wendell; son, David Murray and wife, Jennifer of Maine; sisters: Margaret Wall of Zebulon, Renee Tippett and husband, Robbie of Henderson, Marion Henderson of Fuquay-Varina, Sandra Limberg and husband, Ralph of Tennessee; brothers: Jimmy Mitchell and wife, Jean of Fuquay-Varina, Calvin Mitchell and wife, Ann of Maine, Ricky Mitchell and wife, Gloria of Florida; grandchildren: James Forbes, Chad Shepard; great-grandchildren: Natalie, Kaia, Caylee and Kaiden. In addition to her parents, Wylma was preceded in death by her husband, Linwood Bill Earnhardt; daughter, Vickie and sister, Jean. A celebration of her life will be held from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Thursday, February 21, 2019 at the home of her daughter and son-in-law; Teresa and James Forbes, 1112 Questor Lane, Wendell, NC 27591.
