Carl Eugene Hardin, II, 55, passed away Sunday, February 17, 2019. He was born August 15, 1963 in Germany to the late Carl Eugene Hardin and Elisabeth Charlotte Gunkel. Carl honorably served his country in the US Army and worked many years in the heating and air industry.

Memorial service 1:00 pm, Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service Chapel, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale, 27545. The family will receive relatives and friends immediately following the service at the funeral home. Carl is survived by his sisters: Phillis Reid and husband, Robert of Alabama, Lucille McLellen and husband, Jerry of Florida; brother, Harold W. Gunkel and Martha of Fayetteville.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to L. Harold Poole Funeral Service & Crematory to help the family with funeral expenses.
