Lewis Wall, 80, passed away at Wake Medical Center on January 10th. On November 19, 1960 he married Shirley Wall, who preceded him in death on July 27, 2012. Married for nearly 52 years they had a loving relationship.

Born into a large family of 13 siblings he was the baby of the bunch. He worked for WE Garrison for over 50 years as a bulldozer operator. He loved his garden and was happiest outside with a water hose in his hand.

Memorial service 2:00 pm, Monday, January 14, 2019 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service Chapel, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale, 27545. The family will receive relatives and friends immediately following the service at the funeral home. Surviving: son, Louis Wall, Jr. and wife, Robin; grandchild, Jennifer Perry; great-grandchildren: Jazmine, Jocey and Jenni; sister, Myrtle Williams.

In addition to his wife, Lewis was preceded in death by his daughter, Laura Wall.
