Patty Bland Cole, 77, passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2019. She was born March 16, 1941 in Martin County to the late Reuben Fernando Bland and Ella Gray Brown Bland. Patty worked for 29 years as a Health & Food Nutrition Coordinator for the Headstart Program in Wake, Orange and Chatham Counties.

The family will receive relatives and friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Friday, January 25, 2019 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service Chapel, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale, 27545 and other times at the home of Betty Jean Singhisen. Funeral service will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, January 26, 2019 in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Zebulon Town Cemetery.

Surviving: son, Danny Cole; daughter, Betty Jean Singhisen (Edward); 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; sister, Lynette Taylor. In addition to her parents, Patty was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Ray Cole; son, Tony and 6 siblings.
