Joan Elizabeth Bennett Hadden, 77, passed away Wednesday, October 31, 2018. She was born February 18, 1941 in New Martinsville, WV to the late Dudley Cochran and Esta Marie Buchanon. Joan worked at Northeast Medical Hospital in Concord.

Surviving: daughter, Tina Brisson (Jason) of Zebulon; son, Stephen Ray Bennett (Sandy) of Rocky Mount; 8 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; brother, Vernon Cochran (Fern) of WV. In addition to her parents, Joan was preceded in death by her daughter, Patricia Lynn James.
