Timothy “Champ Don” Stroman (Brooklyn) November 15, 1970 – April 25, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook Timothy, a beloved Father, Brother, Uncle and Grandfather was born on November 15, 1970 to the late Eugenia and Robert Stroman in Brooklyn, New York. He received his education throughout the New York City school system. Sadly by a surprise on April 25, 2019 at Brooklyn Hospital, Timothy also known as “Champ” entered into eternal rest and joined our mother, father, brother, sister and other love ones.

Champ Don has always been a special kind of individual before and after getting robbed, shot and paralyzed 27 years ago. Champ was a very humble, inspirational, talented and lovable individual who loved to chill, smoke, listen to music, research alien life, LOL and enjoy his family. Champ has always been around and there for his family; and it is for that reason Timothy comes in 1st place in the favorite Brother and Uncle Award for the majority of us.

This is unimaginably hard for us All. To cherish and mourn Timothy’s memory is: his only daughter, Janicia A. Stroman Cole; wife, Ophelia Rose; three brothers, Robert (Patricia), Travis and Eugene Stroman of Brooklyn, NY; one sister, Peaches Stroman (Michael); one granddaughter, Saida Brown Cole; grandmother, Birdell Stroman of SC; nineteen nieces and nephews, Shaneaqua, Money, Barry, Shadiya, Anthony, Charles, Eric, Cherilyn, Destiny, Antoinette, Shaquasia, Adam, Quazia, Travis, Malaysia, Robert, Machala, Christian, Britney and Iasha; one goddaughter, Asia Sullivan; eight aunts, Betty, Sylvia, Joanne, Julia, Rachael, Lorraine, Lorraine and Theresa; five uncles, Samuel, Charles, Perry, Stanley and Marvin all from Brooklyn and SC; and a host of close cousins and family friends. No more stress, pain or depression; Timothy “Champ Don” has earned his wings.

Job well done my brother! You are missed and will forever be honored. Your sisters have you like we always had each other!

! ! Like what your great nephew, my grandson, Nisaai Stroman said, you’re our “Super Hero” now.
