Obituary for Timothy “Timmy” Keele Timothy “Timmy” Keele, 49, of Purdon, TX, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, October 8, 2018. He was born on September 23, 1969 to his parents, Leslie Marvin Keele and Mildred (Perry) Keele, both preceding him in death. Timmy was a lover of life, and of living his life outdoors.

Being an “ol’ country boy,” he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and just spending his days in the outdoors. He loved his roosters, and above all, his family. Timmy is survived by his children, Travis Keele and Hunter Keele Dechaume; his bonus kids, Sheri Acker, Chris McCormick, Michael Feemster, and Taylor Oxfod; his brothers, Lonnie Keele and wife Debbie of Corsicana, Alva Keele of Corsicana, Harlin Keele and wife Evelyn of Corsicana, and Eugene Keele and wife Ollie of Lufkin; his sisters, Marlene Jock and husband Bill of Malakoff, Annette Coleman and husband Mark of Kerens, and Ruth Fowler of Joshua.

Timmy is also survived by a number of beloved nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Dorothy Hoppe, and brother, Claude Keele. Timmy’s family will receive friends and loved ones during a visitation at Corley Funeral Home on Thursday, October 11 from 6 PM until 8 PM.

A funeral service will be held at Corley Funeral Home the following day, October 12, at 10 AM, with interment following at Prairie Point Cemetery in Kerens, Texas. Pastor Lonnie Keele, Timmy’s brother, will be officiating the service, with Brother Mimms performing a special song in memory of Timmy. An online guestbook is available at www.
