Tommy Gardner, 70, of Alvin passed away on March 13, 2019 at home with family by his side. Tommy began his life journey on December 5, 1948 in Columbus, Mississippi where he was born to Jack and Edna (Guice) Gardner. He has lived most of his lifetime in Alvin.

He and his cousin Wayne Guice grew up together and were like brothers. Where you found one of them, you would find the other. They had great times being outdoors and hunting and fishing.

Tommy also enjoyed sitting with friends and drinking a cold beer. He was happy go lucky, a prankster, and a man who loved to laugh. It was uncommon to find him without a smile on his face.

Tommy was preceded in death by his parents Jack and Edna Gardner, and his brother Jimmy Gardner. Those that survive him include his children: Amanda Gardner of Angleton, Mitchell Gardner of Alvin, Tommy Silvers of Austin, and Timmy Gardner of California; and his grandchildren: Beau and Luke.
