Tommy Jack’s Obituary Tommy Jack Tucker, 79, of Iuka, MS, formerly of Counce, TN, died Friday, March 22, 2019, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Iuka. Mr. Tucker was a member of Poplar Springs Freewill Baptist Church. He was a U. S. Army veteran and served overseas in Germany.

He retired as a supervisor from Packaging Corporation of America and was also a long-time barber. Physical fitness was important to Tommy, and he enjoyed jogging and running in races. His interests included skydiving, writing poems, and playing the harmonica and guitar.

He was known for always having a smile on his face and sharing his love for his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He is survived by his wife, Dora Faye Tucker of Iuka; two daughters, Laurie Tucker Brumley (Donald) of Counce, TN, and Buffi Tucker Marlar (Robb) of Corinth; one son, Brett Tucker of Alabama; one brother, Ralph Tucker of Iuka; five grandchildren, Misty Rodriguez, Marsha Blackburn, Mickie Crick, Krista-Shea McGee, and Morgan Ashlee Tucker; and twelve great-grandchildren, Katelyn Blackburn, Rayleigh Blackburn, Raegan Blackburn, Trigg Blackburn, Jessalyn Rodriguez, Braxton Rodriguez, Carson Dossett, Jr., Taylor Crick, Tori Jo Crick, Eli Burdette, Jaylen Cobb, and one on the way. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer E. and Birdie Myrick Tucker.

Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Monday, March 25, at Poplar Springs Freewill Baptist Church, officiated by Bro. Russell Clouse.

Interment will follow in Poplar Springs Cemetery. Pallbearers include Donald Brumley, Robb Marlar, Jason Rodriguez, Todd Blackburn, T. J. Crick, and Carson Dossett. Honorary pallbearers include Ralph Tucker, Paul Cunningham, and Terry Willis.

Visitation is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. until service time at the church on Monday. Memorials may be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation at parkinson.org/. An online guestbook can be accessed at www.
