Obituary for Tony J. Didway Tony J. Didway, age 60, passed away on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 from injuries sustained in a vehicle accident in Spartanburg, South Carolina. He was surrounded by his loving family as he went to be with his Lord. Tony was born on December 30, 1957 in Yuma, Arizona to Bill and Hazel (Farr) Didway as the youngest of five children.

Tony attended Anderson University (Indiana) where he met and fell in love with Angela Ridgway. They were married on November 23, 1979. Following Tony’s ordination into ministry, the young couple served a number of congregations during their life together, first in Jackson, MS; then Port Saint Lucie, FL; then Drexel, NC; then Boiling Springs, SC; and finally West Columbia, SC.

Together, Tony and Angela had three sons and a daughter. After retiring from full-time ministry, Tony enjoyed bowling and spending time with his grandchildren. He recently fulfilled a personal dream of opening a men’s clothing shop (De Mon Pere) in Abbeville, SC with his daughter.

Tony is survived by his beloved wife, Angela; his children, Nate (Hope), Matt (Emily), Andy (Keri), and Yvonne; five grandchildren; and his four siblings. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at 3:30 PM at LifeSpring Church, 1641 Old Furnace Road, Boiling Springs, SC 29316.
