Troy Allen Hazard, 82 passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his wife and children on Sunday, February 17, 2019 after battling ALS Disease. He was born in Red Oak, Texas on May 05, 1936 to Tony C. & Ethel Dunn Hazard. He attended Ferris High School after graduation he worked for Sears Roebuck and retired after thirty-seven years.

On June 26, 1958, Troy married Martha DeBorde and they were happily married for sixty years. Troy loved camping, fishing and family vacations. He loved to square dance and round dance and made so many wonderful friends for thirty years.

He loved spending time with his grandchildren who called him Pops, going to the beach fishing and swimming. Troy is survived by his wife Martha, his sons, Richard Hazard, Brent Hazard and wife Renee, two grandchildren: Skylar and Sterling. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Betty Tenpenny, and brothers James and Gwen Hazard.

Services to celebrate his life are scheduled for Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at 2:00 PM at the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home with Pastor Bruce Zimmerman officiating. Interment will follow at the Red Oak Cemetery in Red Oak, Texas. Visitation with the family is scheduled from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home in Waxahachie.
