Troy’s Obituary Mr. Troy L. Stone, 86, of Dalton passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2019. He was preceded in death by his parents, Troy D. and Ruby Potts Stone; brother, Harold Stone; sister, Shirley Walters. Troy served in the Army during the Korean War where he worked in the motor pool.

He loved his wife dearly and was a cancer survivor. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Frances J. Howell Stone; children, Troyce (Alan) Nash of Soddy Daisy TN, Janice Sherrill of Calhoun, and Kim (Robbie) Stone of Dalton; 6 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 PM in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev.

Charlie Hamm officiating. Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 11 until 2 at the funeral home.

Flowers will be accepted or memorial may be made to The American Cancer Society (3380 Chastain Meadows Parkway Suite 200, Kennesaw, GA 30144 – please mark in honor of Troy Stone of Dalton GA).
