Obituary for Tu Ngoc Minh Nguyen It is with great sadness that the family announces the sudden death of Nguyen Ngoc Minh Tu known to many as Tommy. He was born in Vietnam and lost his parents at the young age of eleven. Tommy will be forever remembered by his beloved wife Hoa Diem Tran (Cathy), their precious daughters Cathy Truc Nguyen (11) and Karen Thanh Nguyen (6), sister Nguyen Ngoc Minh Thy and brother Nguyen Ngoc Hoang Minh and numerous in-laws.
Tommy was an engineer in Vietnam. Tommy and Cathy married on July 21, 2002. Soon after Cathy went to America but Tommy couldn’t go until 2005.
Tommy loved his family very much and they all loved and adored him. He was a very devoted husband and such a loving daddy to his girls. He often spent time with his daughters taking them to movies as well as bike riding, bowling and swimming.
They will forever treasure those memories with their beloved daddy. Tommy attended San Antonio College and studied English and started a business working on air conditioners. Tommy later went to school and received his license to work in a nail salon.
He loved this line of work and later bought the business Pro Nails in Boerne, Texas. He built a great reputation and all his customers loved him. He always put his customers first and built lasting relationships with many.
