Mary Ann Turner was born in San Antonio, Texas on July 11, 1946. She entered Heaven’s gates on June 2, 2018. A loving wife, mother, and grandmother, Mary was a remarkable person and enjoyed being surrounded by her family.

For many years leading up to her passing, she was able to travel to some of her favorite places with her loved ones. She loved cooking, crafting, and gardening. She had a beautiful home and yard where she planted her favorite plants and welcomed her loved ones with open arms.

Her door was always open and she enjoyed her coffee and plentiful visits from her large family. She loved eating Mexican food and had a sweet tooth. She enjoyed making her favorite dishes for family gatherings.

Mary is predeceased by her mother and father, Edward and Sarah Drzymalla; brother, Edward “bubba”; and sister, Joyce. Mary is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Avon A. Turner; siblings, Regina, Richard, Johnny, Kenneth, and Doris; children, Cynthia and husband Bruce, Michelle and husband Ray, Avon and wife Stephanie, and Jason and wife Angela. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, Donald and wife Sandra, Lacy and husband Shawn, Joshua and wife Kailey, Kelsey and husband Carlos, Kaitlyn and husband Troy, Mikayla, Avon, Rylie, Ian, Evan, Cora, and Chloe.

She had ten great-grandchildren, Liliana, Hudson, Logan, Kenner, Camron, Kennedy, Adalynn, Tinsley, Cooper, and Landree. Her sister, Regina Tedford, lovingly cared for Mary for 14 months. The family would like to extend their greatest and warmest gratitude to Regina for caring for Mary during this time of her life.

Mary Ann Turner will be missed by all and forever in our hearts. A memorial service celebrating her life will be held on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Meadowlawn Memorial Park at 5611 E.
