Urban Shank, 58, of Bellevue passed away Monday, July 23, 2018 at The Bellevue Care Center. He was born April 13, 1960 in Bellevue the son of Urban D. and Frances (Gonzales) Shank. Urban loved cooking, doing many kinds of crafts, and researching his family genealogy.

He loved animals especially his German Shepard sight dog, “Nick”. He is survived by two sons, Urban D. Shank of Arkansas, Michael Shank of Arkansas; daughter, Cheryl (Bill) Keyes of Arkansas; 2 grandchildren; and siblings: Nancy (Patrick) Smith of Bellevue, Connie (David) Schaffer of Attica, Eugene Shank, Joan Shank of Monroeville, and Wilma Shank-Wohlever of Fremont. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers: Ricky and Randy Shank; paternal grandparents, Urban and Geraldine (Lepley) Shank and maternal grandparents, Pedro and Rosa Marie (Garcia) Gonzales.

A memorial Mass will be celebrated on Friday, July 27, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church, 231 E. Center Street, Bellevue. Burial will follow at Bellevue Catholic Cemetery. Foos & Foos Funeral Service, Bellevue is assisting the family with arrangements.
