Valeree Barnes Lexington-Funeral services for Valeree Barnes, 85, will be conducted at 12:00 Noon on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Lexington Chapel. Burial will be private. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Barnes was the daughter of the late Clarence and Rosalee Williams Hayden and was a member of Platt Springs Church of God. She was a loving mother and homemaker. Surviving are her sons, Chris Barnes (Debbie), John Busbee and Chris Barnes, Jr.; daughters, Brenda Bedenbaugh, Donna Riser (David), and Sherrie Hopkins; 10 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; brother, Otto Headen; sisters, Betty Kempher, Gloria Gillespie, Willie May Lee and Juaneta Headen.

She was predeceased by husband, Francis Barnes; son, Rick Avalon; daughter, Katherine Vinson. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shriners Hospital or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
