On Wednesday, November 14, 2018, God saw that one of His Angels was getting tired and called her home. Valerie was born on June 3, 1966 in Orangeburg, SC. She is the daughter of Leroy and the late Charlotte Brown.

Valerie attended Holly Hill Roberts High and graduated with the class of 1982. She worked in Conway as a manager at the Holiday Inn for over 12 years and was a manager over The Housing Authority in Conway for several years. She moved from Conway to Holly Hill in 2015.

Valerie leaves to cherish her memories in our hearts: Ervin Boyd (special friend) of the home; Father, Leroy Brown of Holly, SC; one sister, Shonda Lambright of Holly Hill, SC; Latoscka Lambright a special niece called “Onion” of Harleyville, SC; two favorite nephews, Khari Lambright and Johnathan Brown both of Holly Hill, SC; uncles: Sam (Clooria) Brown, James (Shirley) Brown of Anyor, SC, and Bollie (Peggy) Brown of Holly Hill, SC; Aunts: Katie Thompson of Holly Hill, SC and Vera (Bobby) Colliard of Pineville, SC; three great nieces and nephews: Kennedy Lambright, Jayden Lambright, and Messiah Brown; three special friends: Carol King, Christiane Robinson Washington, and Yolanda White; special cousins: Lois and Cleve Grant of Holly Hill, SC; and a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends.
