Obituary for Valerie Lynn Burns Print Valerie Lynn Burns, a long time resident of Clinton Twp. , was received into the loving arms of Jesus on Monday, February 18, 2019 at the age of 37 years. Valerie was born in St. John Hospital, Detroit, on June 28, 1981, a daughter of John and Lee Ann (Vanduker) Zalewski.
She was a graduate of Fraser High School and was one term away from a Bachelor’s Degree from Central Michigan University. Valerie loved crafting, cooking, bargain shopping, singing and especially loved snuggling and cuddling with her daughter Brooke. Her favorite food was enjoying cottage cheese and Cheerios.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Valerie is survived by her loving daughter, Brooke; her loving Dad and Mother, John and Lee Ann; her loving sisters Amy (Joe) King, Sarah and Theresa Zalewski and her loving brother, Joseph (Nina). Visitation will be held at the Faulmann & Walsh Golden Rule Funeral Home, 32814 Utica Rd.
