Obituary for Valerie Ortiz Valerie Ortiz born August 12, 1985 to Mario Ortiz and Elena V. Ortiz in San Antonio, Texas passed away on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at the age of 33 years. Miss Ortiz was preceded in death by her Mother, Elena V. Ortiz. She is survived by her father, Mario Ortiz; brothers, Mario Ortiz, Jr., and Matthew Ortiz; sister, Angelica Ortiz; and numerous family and friends.

Miss Ortiz was a kind hearted, selfless person. She always thought of others first, and cherished her loved ones. She was wonderful with children, and often took the time to mentor, teach, and read to them; spreading her love of literature.

She was also a gifted writer with creativity that knew no bounds. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Visitation will begin on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. at the Camero Funeral Home.

A Rosary Service will be held on Tuesday Evening at 7:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at First Memorial Park Cemetery.
