Vernell’s Obituary Services for Vernell Barnett, 81, of Hughes Springs, will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 31, 2019 at Reeder-Davis Chapel. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs. There will be a time of visitation one hour prior to the service.

Ms. Barnett was born June 18, 1937 and passed away January 28, 2019. She was preceded in death by her husband, Halbert “Sonny” Barnett. She is survived by her children, Patti Terrell and husband Larry, Karen Osteen and husband Billy; grandchildren, Lisa Young, Lindsey Hannah, and Ally Beth Villanueva; brother, Larry Hammack; three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
