OBITUARY Vernon R. Arnold April 28, 1933 – January 13, 2019 Play Tribute Movie Vernon Ray Arnold, 85 year-old resident of McLoud, Oklahoma, passed away January 13, 2019 at his home. Born April 28, 1933, he was the son of Ashley Arnold and Nettie Mae (Moody) Arnold. Vernon was a former Master Sgt.

in the U.S. Army. He was a longtime employee at Tinker AFB working in Calibrating Field Controls and other areas. Vernon was a former owner-operator of a dump truck and often held down two jobs at the same time.

He was a jokester and had never met a stranger in his life; he loved playing the guitar and fiddle and fishing. Preceding him in death were his parents, 1 son, Lofton Erwin Arnold, 1granddaughter, Zoe Rose Arnold, 2 sisters, and 2 brothers. Survivors include his wife Susie Arnold of the home; 1 son, Vernon Ashely Arnold and his wife Pamela of McLoud, OK, 1 daughter, Amanda Arnold and partner, Eric Wilcox of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, 2 grandchildren, Mina Arnold of Shawnee, OK, and Evett Arnold of McLoud, Oklahoma, and a number of nieces and nephews.
