Vernon R. Booher, loving husband, father, grandfather and brother passed away on Tuesday, December 25, 2018. Vernon was born on February 15, 1930 in Woodland, MI to Russell and Mabel (Van Blarcom) Booher. On June 12, 1949 he married Anna B Shook at St. Cyril’s Catholic Church in Nashville, Michigan.

Vernon is survived by: his children; Jayne Bartlett, Kathi Dow, and David (Beth) Booher, brother Durwood Booher, brother-in-law Richard Hart and sister- in- laws Audrey Burdick, Melva Shook and Joyce Shook; 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Ann, brother Kerwin, sisters-in-law Jeanne, Dorothy and Ardith, brothers-in-law Harold and Donald. Visitation will be held at Koops Funeral Chapel in Lake Odessa, MI on Friday, December 28, 2018 from 2pm until 4pm and 6pm until 8pm with a Rosary at 7pm.

Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at St. Edwards Catholic Church in Lake Odessa at 11am. Burial will take place immediately following in Lakeside Cemetery in Lake Odessa. Memorials can be given to St. Edwards Education Fund, Manna’s Market or Lake Odessa Community Library.
