OBITUARY Vicki Mann Stein July 11, 1968 – July 23, 2018 Vicki Mann Stein passed away peacefully on July 23, 2018 at the age of 50. Born in Marrero, Louisiana on July 11, 1968 to Victor Mann Sr. and Linda Ortego, Vicki had been a resident of Harvey for most of her life. Vicki was well known for her caring and magnetic personality, she was loved by all who met her.

She will be missed dearly by her frequent companions Eddie, Charlie and Honey. She presided as the Worthy Matron of the William D. White Masonic Lodge Chapter No. 141, O.E.S and was a member of the Algiers United Methodist Church.

Vicki loved her family intensely and enjoyed spending time at the beach. She was an administrator in the Student Health Center at Tulane University for approximately 20 years. Survived by her mother Linda Ortego; Father Victor Mann Sr. (Elizabeth); Brother Victor Mann Jr. (Angelique); Uncle Lenny Ortego (Darlene); Aunts Darlene Riehm (Harold), Tammy Taullie (Raymond) and Connie Duhon (Jerry).

Vicki also leaves behind many cousins, friends and loved ones to cherish her memory. Family and friends are invited to attend the funeral services being held at WESTSIDE LEITZ-EAGAN FUNERAL HOME located at 5101 Westbank Expressway in Marrero, Louisiana. A memorial service is being held on July 28, 2018 at 1:00pm.

Visitation will be held from 10:00a-1:00p. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that a donation be made in Vicki’s honor to the children of Algiers Methodist Church 637 Opelousas Street in New Orleans (504) 361-1334 or Paws Animal Shelter in Belle Chasse, Louisiana paws4life.org/ (504)392-1601.
