Obituary for Vickie Bennett In loving memory of Vickie Lynn Laws Bennett, age 59 of Pineville, KY passed away, Saturday September 29, 2018 at UT Medical Center, Knoxville. She was born June 6, 1959 to Betty Jo Laws and the late Johnny Laws. She had been a salesclerk at Jim Brown Supply and received her Bacholors degree from Cumberland.
She accepted Jesus Christ as her lord and savior when she was 9 years old and she lived a true Christian life, she was deeply loved and will be deeply missed. Survivors include her husband of 38 years, Wayne Bennett; son Gary Wayne Bennett Jr., mother Betty Jo Laws; Sister/Aunt Carolyn Mannes Gilbert; Best friends Cynthia Davis, Brenda Helton and Barbara Lockard. Funeral services will be Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at Brooks-Durham Funeral Home with Rev.
Ron Gilbert at 1 PM; burial will follow in The Harris Cemetery, Clay County, KY with Jesse Howard, Jim Dabney, Tony Bennett, Ted Bennett, Claude Bennett and Dennis Bennett as pallbearers; honorary pallbearers will be Anthony Bennett, Jake Bush, Murrell Davis and Rev. Bill Helton. The family will receive friends after 11am Tuesday October 2, 2018 until the funeral hour at Brooks-Durham Funeral Home, Pineville.
