Obituary for Victor Gomez Jr McAllen – Victor Gomez, Jr., 79 passed away on Wednesday July 4, 2018 at his McAllen residence. He was born on Sunday September 25, 1938 in Nueva Rosita, Coahuila, Mexico, the son of the late Victor and the late Catalina (Gutierrez) Gomez. He is survived by a son: Victor Gomez, Jr. of McAllen, three daughters: Catalina Gomez of Edinburg, Martha Elva Gomez of McAllen and Norma Delia Martinez of Pharr; sister: Graciela Gomez of Mission; two grandsons: Victor Gomez, IV and Juan Pablo Martinez, Jr. Visitation will be held from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm Friday, July 6, 2018 with a prayer of the Holy Rosary being recited at 7:00 pm at Rivera Funeral Home, 1901 Pecan Blvd.

, McAllen. Celebration of Life Mass will be held at 9:00 am on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at St. Joseph The Worker Catholic Church, 900 S. 23rd Street, McAllen. Interment will follow at La Piedad Cemetery, 1801 Wichita Ave.
