Victoria M. Schimp, 71, a resident of Fitzwilliam, NH died on August 30, 2018 after a period of declining health, she was surrounded by her loving family. She was born on January 19, 1947 in Benton Harbor, Michigan, a daughter of the late Raymond and Mary (Alti) Lewis. Victoria was raised and educated in Benton Harbor and graduated from St. John’s High School.

She would later go on to graduate from Western Michigan University with a degree in education. She married Thomas Schimp and together raised daughters, Christine and Melissa.

Vicky and Tom moved from Michigan to NH seven years ago settling in Fitzwilliam, NH. Faith and family were very important to Vicky and she was often seen spending time with her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought her immense joy. In addition to her parents, Vicky was predeceased by her brother, Donald Lewis.

Survivors include her loving husband, Tom of Fitzwilliam, their daughter’s and son’s-in-law, Christine and Joseph Bryan of New Ipswich, NH and Melissa and Brian Beregsasy of Eau Claire, Michigan, her sister, Kathleen Kampe of Michigan and a brother, David Lewis also of Michigan. 8 Grandchildren and 3 Great-Grandchildren and many nieces nephews and cousins. SERVICES: Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM in the Cournoyer Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 33 River Street, Jaffrey, NH.

A Requiem Mass will take place on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at 10:00 AM in the St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, 43 Franklin Street, Nashua, NH (All are invited to meet us directly at church). Burial will follow in the family plot, St. Benedict Cemetery, Richmond, NH.
