Obituary for Vicy “Vee” Lynn Timmer Vicky “Vee” Lynn Timmer, age 60, of Edwardsville, Illinois passed away on Thursday, May 31, 2018, at her residence. She was born on August 24, 1957, in Jacksonville, North Carolina at Camp Lejeune. Vee married James Wilbur Timmer on December 31, 1981, in Lemon Grove, California.

He survives. She was employed as the Director of Operations at Qdobo Mexican Grill. In her spare time she enjoyed crafts, especially quilting and beading.

Mostly, she loved her time with her family and friends. She was a member of Harley Owners Group and always enjoyed helping others. She loved animals, especially her many dogs.

Survivors include her husband, Jim that she had been together with since March 15, 1979, Her children; Stephen Timmer, Carol Timmer, Sara Haver, Katie Timmer and Dorothy Timmer, Seven grandchildren; Kaitlyn, Michael, Daniel, Bella, Nathan, Zachary, and Ashely. Her mother; Carol Maurice (nee: Walls) Montelongo. Two sisters; Patti Boudreau and Jerri Montelongo Farmer.

Four brothers; Robert Whitley, Charles Whitley, Frank Montelongo and Joe Montelongo. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Henry Whitley, Sr.; and her “dad”, Gabriel Montelongo, Sr; a sister, Angela Charlene Montelongo. As well as many other extended family and many friends.

Visitation will be on Monday, June 4, 2018, 1:00 pm until time of services honoring her life at 3:00 pm, at Elias-Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto, Illinois. Pastor Charles West will officiate. For those desiring, memorials may be made to No Kid Hungry, No Child Goes Hungry, or to ASPCA.
